Alterpreconsistancy | ˈôltərˌprēˈkənˈsɪstansi|
(also -tant|) noun ( pl. -cies)
My present art making evolves by applying Alterpreconsistancy
to my practice in order to alter my current work as an artist.
The concept is to appose to past stereotypical artistic behavior,
to research this method and reveal it’s hidden content.
I am producing a series of work in various mediums to broaden
my research of this engagement. My creations are paraphrases of “recognizable artworks” that
to me appears to be stuck in time and is in need of an restaurateur.
These artworks have lost something in-between the pre-special-
object-Idea state and their present consistency. I use my personal
surroundings and adopt a “snap-shot”, “ready-made” or “recycling-
punk” style to keep initial intensity for these artworks and further
explore and communicate the word Alterpreconsistant in relation to
this subject.
My intention is to closer reflect on the original concepts of these pieces,
thus enabling a possibility to add or change their narrative.
